The restoration project, born through our collaboration with the CAI (Italian Alpine Club) Bormio section, aims to revive one of the most iconic bivouacs of the Stelvio, offering a unique experience. A special place that reconnects mountain lovers and hikers with nature, enjoying a conscious lifestyle inspired by the Alps, the birthplace of our bitter liqueur.

Exploring the Capanna Dosdè

A unique journey through nature and culture in the heart of Valtellina, where the capanna Dosdè reveals itself as a guarded treasure, enriched by slowness and timeless beauty.

Departure from Valdidentro

The hike begins at Altumeira in Valdidentro, following the 8 km trail with an elevation gain of 870 m. The duration is approximately 3.5 hours.

Wildlife along the Trails

The trail provides the opportunity, as you walk along, to observe the wildlife and unique flora of the area in full respect of the environment.

Arrival at Capanna Dosdè

Upon reaching the bivouac, the view stretches across the rocky peaks and high-altitude lakes of Val Viola. An unforgettable moment for trekking and nature enthusiasts.

Seasons in Motion

The trail is accessible from May to September, while in the months of March and April, it is suitable for ski mountaineering enthusiasts.
